Thyme Ground

Thyme is the dried leaves and flowering tops of Thymus vulgaris.
 
The small curled brownish-green leaves have a warm, pungent aroma and flavor. 
 
Both traditionally and commonly thyme is used heavily in French cuisine. Fantastic for flavoring poultry, meat, cream sauces and veggies.
 
Best used toward beginning of cooking process.
