Rosemary Ground

Rosemary is the dried leaves of Rosmarinus officinalis. The slender, pine needle-like, brownish-green leaves have a minty aroma and a bitter camphor, and tea-like flavor.
 
Rosemary can be very assertive and can overpower a dish if not added with a careful hand. Ground rosemary is great for those after rosemary centered rubs without the worry of the pine like needles burning or falling off. Wonderful on chicken, lamb, foccacia bread, sauces and stews.
