Ancho Chili

Chile pepper is the dried, ripened fruit of Capsicum annum. 
 
Ancho peppers are simply dried Poblano peppers, this chile powder is not as hot as one would think coming from a pepper. Though mild as it may be, be sure to not overlook the intense delightful flavor.
